about

I've always loved this photo. I think I took it in a mall in Montreal. It has a sort of magic and a bit of absurdity, seeing all these umbrellas hanging from a 3- or 4-story ceiling. What use are they up there?

The style of this piece is in the vein of Yasuaki Shimizu, whom I tried my best to channel for a colour-changing ambient thing, complete with tape loops.

about

Chris Carlier regina, Saskatchewan
