about

The description I got from Keely for this photo was amazing! Basically, during a trip to Scotland, full of wonderful memories, the one most memorable thing was this incredible dessert, at a tea house in Glasgow.

For this, I wanted something epic (overused word, I know, but...)! This piece starts with some double reed drones - mimicking bagpipes, of course - and quickly turns into this huge, romantic string number. Having never been to Scotland, but having seen many photographs and videos, I tried to imagine this tea house and a dessert that one could remember for years!

about

Chris Carlier regina, Saskatchewan

I make short songs for doing dishes or walking the dog or riding the bus. Sometimes it sounds like the smell of the ground after it rains in autumn. Sometimes it sounds like a long summer drive with the windows down.

Sometimes I make music for film/TV/games/radio. Sometimes I make music for patrons.

Most of the time I'm drinking coffee.
