No One Else Could See Her (for Keely)

from Short Songs For Patrons II by Chris Carlier

/

about

Did I imagine her or did that really happen?

Sitting alone, in a crowded center, things started looking unnatural. People began moving - was it backwards? Then the sky went black and there she was, motionless, staring at me. No one else could see her - or were they even really there? Then, just as soon as she appeared, she was gone.

Keely wanted "something dark and twisted, like my soul". The background noise in this one is a field recording I took in Old Montreal - played in reverse, of course.

about

Chris Carlier regina, Saskatchewan

Sometimes I make music for film/TV/games/radio. Sometimes I make music for patrons.

Most of the time I'm drinking coffee.
